Family living in Rampisham in Dorset (close to Yeovil and Dorchester) seek aupair/housekeeper to help care for their 4 children aged 10 years, 9 years, 6 years and 2 years old- not much sole charge and not 4 children at once. Mother is a Designer but at present is a Full Time Mother and father is a Managing Director of a Market Research Company. They live in a large newly refurbished beautiful, historical English house with 8 bedrooms, a 4 acre garden with woodland, stream and an orchard.The aupair will have her own large newly decorated very private bedroom/living space with your own personal bathroom and free internet access. An experienced driver is needed and use of a car is given. Mother says: My husband and I have a passionate interest in art, design and music . I am an interior architect whilst my husband is a managing director of a very successful market research company. We enjoy food, entertaining, walking and gardening. We expect all the children to take part in most meals demonstrating good behaviour and confidence interacting with adults. We require someone who is comfortable living in the countryside, (this IS a rural but beautiful location) and who enjoys being part of a very busy lively,happy family. You will need to be flexible, sociable and happy to take part in family events and occasional holidays. The hours will amount to 25- 30 hours per week,occasional but rarely extra help will be required at the weekend organised well in advance. Housework and help required to run a smooth household is an important part of your duties. We have had several aupairs and cleaners/ mother’s helps who have worked for us over the last 7 years and there are many young people nearby to make new friends.
