We are a young little family which lives in the heart of Hamburg. After many years full of fantastic experiences travelling and working in different countries we decided – after our return to Germany – to give young people the opportunity to have the same great experience as an Au Pair in our family. We have two wonderful Kids – Tammo 3 years old and Mads 6 months old – who mean everything to us. For these little Princes and as help for us we would love to find an Au Pair which loves to work with kids, is full of energy and therefore fits to us and would like to live for a year in one of the most beautiful and interesting cities of the world – Hamburg.
Our family: Steffi, 40 (Mom), Matthias 38 (Dad), Tammo, 3 (Prince I.) and Mads, 0 (Prince II.). Matthias is self employed as Marketing Consultant. Steffi is also working as Marketing Manager in Trade Marketing but at home at the moment as Mads is just 7 months old. End of next year Steffi likes to work part time again.
We live in our own house in the heart of Hamburg. The district is called Eimsbüttel and offers almost everything from shopping to bars and culture. Nevertheless the tube is next door and brings you where ever you want in a very short time.
If we don´t work or play with our kids, we love to spend time with our friends or drive to the coast…and at night time we dream of exploring the rest of the world and plan how to show our kids the most beautiful places in the world.
As an Au Pair in our family you are an integrated part of our family – like all Au Pairs before you. This means we will spend a lot of time together and we will have great fun together. On the other hand we need to trust each other. Therefore, it is most important you realise that you take part of the responsibility for our little Princes and that you are willing to do this with great pleasure.

The Aupair could attend an intensive GEMAN language course in the mornings from Monday to Friday, and work in the afternoons when the kids are back from school. Family living in a large country house 15 minutes by car to Munich city center next to horse stables and near a lake. All ameneties like shopping, cinema etc.. are five min. by car. Their twin daughters are 4 years old and raised bilingually English/German. Aupairs mother tongue should be English, she must be able to swim and should have a drivers licence. She will have her own separate apartment (bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette) with TV and internet access. A driver is needed and the aupair will have use of a car. We would like our aupair to genuinly love kids and to also be happy to do light housework. We are looking for a cheerful, patient, child loving, sporty young woman who will be a friend and a teacher to our twins and who will join our family for 12 months. Our aupair will work primarily in the afternoons and babysit about three evenings a week. Mother is an arts journalist and father an entrepreneur with a home office. We have previously had two aupairs (also Almondbury) who joined our family and we were very happy with both.
